DCS series, New High Input Voltage Power Module

COSEL is introducing the DCS series, new high DC input voltage power module.

The DCS is a conduction cooled DC/DC converter with an input range of 200 to 435 VDC and various outputs up to 65 VDC, rated up to 1400 Watts. This is the next generation to the successful COSEL DBS series. The DCS is in a Full Brick board level mount configuration.

1. Design Background COSEL is introducing the DCS series of high voltage DC input power modules.
The DCS is a conduction cooled DC/DC converter with an input range of 200 to 435 VDC and various outputs up to 65 VDC, rated up to 1400 Watts. This is the next generation to the successful COSEL DBS series. The DCS is in a Full Brick board level mount configuration.

2. Product Enchantments
(1) The Highest Power Density in the world. *By self-investigation Two times higher per unit volume than COSEL’s existing DBS model.
(2) Wide Input Voltage Range (200 to 435VDC) Available at high input voltage that general commercial power (Single-phase / Three-phase) is smoothing and rectified. Acceptable at 500VDC in (peak) by operating under unstable input voltage environment.
(3) Built-in Various Functions Constant Output Voltage Control (Output voltage adjustable down to approximately 0V). Constant Output Current operation Parallel Operation (Max. 12PCS) Remote-control
(4) Low and High Temperature environments. Operates from -40 C to +100 C degrees (at the base plate) using conduction cooling.
(5) Safety Standards・CE Marking UL (America), C-UL (Canada), DEMKO (Denmark) UL62368-1, EN62368-1 CE Marking: Low Voltage Directive, RoHS applicable
